SUGAR GROVE, Ill. – All it takes is a glance at the nightly news to be reminded that we live in a world with much pain and suffering. Thankfully, there are people like Penny Panayiota Deligiannis who have the ability, drive and compassion to make the world a better place.

Deligiannis is well-acquainted with the plight of the poor, having overseen relief and development work in Albania, East Africa and Southeast Asia.
